Through a variety of philanthropic and social activities, Sigma Pi inspires its members to adopt important values such as leadership, empathy and ambition, and to always strive for excellence.
Since became established in 1918, Xi Chapter has had a rich and thriving history here at the University of Iowa! We rechartered in 2005 and did not look back! Xi Chapter has gained an excellent reputation here at the university as well as the surrounding community. In 2014, at Sigma Pi's biennial National Convocation Xi Chapter was named the best Sigma Pi in the nation, a huge accomplishment for this chapter! We continue our excellence by having one of the top GPA's on campus, an outstanding social presence, and a great understanding on philanthropic events. The brothers of Xi Chapter not only aim to graduate, but grow to become better men.
I believe in Sigma Pi, a fellowship of kindred minds, united in brotherhood to advance truth and justice, to promote scholarship, to encourage chivalry, to diffuse culture, and to develop character. In the service of god and man; and I will strive to make real the Fraternities ideals in my own daily life.
